Our coordinators help you understand what your plan funds, connect you with the right providers, and work through any issues with the NDIA. What is the difference between Support Coordination and Specialist Support Coordination?
Support Coordination helps you connect with and coordinate your providers. Specialist Support Coordination is for participants with more complex needs and involves a higher level of planning and crisis support. Your plan will specify which type you are funded for.
Does Support Coordination use my Core Supports budget?
No. Support Coordination is funded under your Capacity Building budget.
Can I change my Support Coordinator?
Yes. You can change providers at any time, giving notice as per your service agreement. Call 02 9387 3030 and we can assist with the transition.
What happens at a plan review?
Your Support Coordinator helps prepare evidence of your progress and unmet needs, communicates with the NDIA on your behalf, and can attend the review meeting with you if needed.
