Assistance with Daily Living (ADL) is one of the most used NDIS Core Supports, covering the practical, everyday tasks that help you live as independently as possible. What This Service Includes
- Personal care, showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting support
- Domestic assistance, cleaning, laundry, and home management
- Meal preparation and dietary support
- Medication prompting and supervision (prompt/supervise only, administration requires nursing)
- Mobility support and transfer assistance
- Morning and evening routine support
- Overnight and active overnight support (subject to plan funding)





Who Is Eligible
NDIS participants in Sydney with Core Supports, Assistance with Daily Life funding in their approved NDIS plan, where the support is related to their disability-related needs.

What does Assistance with Daily Living cover?
ADL covers disability-related support for everyday activities including personal care, domestic tasks, meal preparation, and mobility, where these are required because of your disability and funded in your NDIS plan.
How many hours of ADL support can I receive?
This depends on your individual plan. The NDIA funds ADL based on your assessed reasonable and necessary needs. Your Support Coordinator or LAC can help you understand your allocation
Can my support worker assist with medication?
Support workers can prompt you to take medication and supervise self-administration. Administration of medication requires a registered nurse. If you need clinical medication support, speak to us about our nursing services.
What if I need to change my support hours?
Contact us with reasonable notice and we will adjust your schedule in line with your service agreement.
Do you provide overnight support?
Yes, subject to plan funding. Contact us to discuss active overnight or sleepover support options.
